INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?

RSF relies on the generosity of people in our community and that means far more than monetary donations.

If you have attended any RSF event or RSF sponsored event at one of the schools in the Rhinebeck district, you have seen first-hand how many people generously offer their time, talents and even sometimes their children seeking opportunities to engage in community service. Without all of those volunteers, the events, the grants, and the impact would not happen.

Here are a few opportunities where extra hands and hands-on expertise are needed and appreciated:

  • easy to do in a group/social setting or on your own, mostly during annual appeal season (Fall) and fundraising events (Spring Celebration). Great for student volunteers!

  • NEED FROM MELISSA

  • regular commitment as a member of this sub-committee reviewing grants submitted to RSF for programmatic funding, can be done virtually, requires time to read and consider grant requests and make recommendations to the RSF Board based on grant criteria to be provided.

  • NEED DESCRIPTION

  • specifically Spring Celebration (creative, auction, prep, day/night-of, clean-up, promotion, sponsor recruitment) and Discovery Festival (every other year, prep/set-up, day-of, promotion, presenter recruitment, sponsor recruitment). Great for student volunteers!
