Biomimicry and Sculpture

Congrats to Ms. Danneman! RSF was pleased to approve her grant proposal for Biomimicry and Sculpture at BMS. Ms. Danneman's partner in this program is ENTA, who teaches core subjects through the Arts. ENTA and Ms. Dannemann have worked together for the past five years, using sculptural techniques to support the BMS science curriculum.

With Ms. Dannemann, ENTA teaching artists introduced the efficiency of the claws of inspiration, the raptor, and discussed its design features and function. ENTA artists  introduced sculptural inspirations with unique designs, such as kinetic sculptures (art that moves in response to stimuli), as well as. architectural building features, machinery, engineering tools and other human designs that use some of the raptor qualities.
