RSF Fourth Annual Spring Celebration

The Barns at Grasmere

The theme for this year’s gala is “An Evening At the Academy Awards.” Join us for an evening of glitz and glamour. Enter our “Ride In Style” raffle to be whisked to and from the gala with your friends in your own private limousine provided by Black Diamond Limos and sponsored by Timely Signs.

The evening will once again take place at The Barns at Grasmere and will feature incredible food, great music, and exciting live and silent auctions.

She can help navigate through the process with a full array of services and workshops that cover everything from the basics of college admissions to the maze of financial aid planning. Good for a 2-hour one-on-one session or workshop registration fees

Gardener of Eden
Landscape designer Sheila Maloney comes to the rescue with an assortment of plants, just right for your own garden conditions. After an initial on-site consultation an array of 9 to 12 herbaceous plants (perennials, grasses, or ferns) will be provided with recommendations for placement

Abracadabra
Rabbit-filled hats, card tricks, reappearing coins–a magic show is a classic event at kids birthday parties. Magician Scott Brod entertains with his 45-minute magic show and balloon animals. Ages 4-11.

Castaway
Sit right back and you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip…Take a 2-hour tour of the beautiful Hudson River with local sailors Stefanie and Gerald Kufner aboard their 24-foot Trimaran. Lounge on the trampoline and sip champagne while sailing the river blue. Laughter and salty stories included.

Cinema Paradiso

Just like the movie moguls, you can attend a private movie screening of your choice with John Pruitt, Assoc. Prof of Film and Electronic Arts at Bard College. Theater can accommodate 4-50 people at the Bard campus and film can be negotiated depending on interest, genre, period, etc. Lively discussion will follow!

Streetfood Named Desire

Chef Ryan Viator will conduct a private cooking class for in your home featuring the cuisine of his native Louisiana. Six lucky diners will get to feast on bayou specialties as they come roux-ing, etoufee-ing and blackening out of the pan! Beverages not included.

French Connection
Joe and Jenn Dalu invite 2 romantic diners for dinner at Le Petit Bistro. Savor the restaurant’s classic French fare, such as pâté de maison or coquilles St. Jacques, or try a dish like zesty fish tacos from the inspired and delicious daily specials menu.

Beach Blanket Bingo
Host your own pool party and Lebanese barbeque for 10 at the home of Ali and Jen Hammoud. Their lovely secluded pool overlooks rolling hills and horse farms and the menu includes delicacies such as shish kebabs, hummus, baba ghanoush, kofta, dessert, wine & beer and lots more. You’ll feel movie star glamorous after a Spa Renewal Day at Canyon Ranch.
